Community Youth Mentoring
Community Youth Mentoring has been serving youth in our community for more than 50 years. Founded in 1968 as V.I.A. Clubs of Erie County (Volunteers In Action), the organization provided youth mentoring until 1997, when it became affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. In 2018, the organization became independent again and adopted its current name, Community Youth Mentoring.
Today, Community Youth Mentoring continues that same mission through Traditional Mentoring and School Buddy Mentoring, connecting local youth with caring adult mentors and supporting students across area schools.
